2006 LPD Football

Well people are mentioning they are losing everyone important to graduation and the only player that Gate City has coming back is Parks, so they must have been very senior-laden in that case. I haven't heard from anyone on the number of seniors & senior starters on their team this past season, but from what I have heard on here from individuals (all coming from people outside of Gate City), they must have had 20-25 seniors or more on the roster & the majority of them filled both the offensive and defensive starting team.

lost something like 19 my senior year and still went to regional finals

parks and hackney are both back, tihlee anderson will qb, theyll be just fine and i dont even like gc football

haha no...i just didnt invest anything in gate city football...i dont HATE gate city football or any other sport for that matter, i just wasnt an enthusiastic fan or anything of that sort...i cheered for my friends of course, but just wasnt/am not enamored with gc football moreso now with all my friends gone

you see this is what confuses me about you gcdevil, you go to Tech and you root for your college, though you were probably a Tech fan before you went to school there, you still root for them, and you get on here and you say that you're not a big fan of GC football. There has to be a reason other than you didn't play, I mean after all it is your alma mater. What did you play? I know basketball and possibly tennis, anything else? So do you not like high school football in general???? You get on here and you throw out all you high tech college educated slander and you can't give a better reason than "I'm just not that enamored with GC football," come on man that just don't make no sense.

I know this sounds like I'm going off on you, I hope you don't take it that way, I just want to know why your not a fan of your high school football team.

I guess some people just like different things.

I like football, but I don't care much for basketball or baseball.

Why? Heck if I know... just not my type of sport!

alright...let me be clear...i dont hope they lose and ill be happy if they win, but im just not a big high school football fan i guess you could say, although i like to follow high school recruiting

i guess it also has to do with a couple instances of kids in high school who got on the football team and werent really "athletic" but they automatically thought they were the stuff

some so far as to think they would make the basketball team just because they played football

but even with all that i dont "dislike" gc football...just dont get into it like 98% of the town
